Full-Time

$12–$18/hr during training (based on aptitude & performance)

About the Role

Northstar Appliance Repair is looking for dependable, mechanically inclined individuals who want to build a long-term career in appliance repair.

No appliance repair experience is required. We provide paid, hands-on training and support as you develop the skills needed to work independently.

This role is best suited for someone who values learning a trade, consistency, and growth — not short-term or temporary work.

Training & Growth

• Paid, structured training with experienced technicians
• A minimum training period designed to build real confidence and skill
• Gradual increase in responsibility as you progress
• Independent service work may be introduced during training for evaluation
• Advancement and pay increases are based on readiness and performance, not just time

We invest heavily in training and expect a genuine commitment from those who join the team.

Starting Pay

Starting pay is based on aptitude, interview results, and early performance:

• $12–$13/hr – Entry-level trainee
• $15–$16/hr – Strong mechanical aptitude
• $17–$18/hr – High-potential candidates

Performance-based raises are available as skills develop.

• Willing to grow into an independent role over time

Experience in hands-on, mechanical, or maintenance work is helpful, but not required.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work in customers’ homes
• Physically able to lift and move appliances
• Willingness to complete a short pre-hire assessment
