Assembly Technician

Pay: $18.00-$20.00/hr

Position Overview

The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling mechanical components and supporting production operations in a manufacturing environment. This Assembly Technician role involves using hand and power tools, following blueprints and work instructions, and ensuring all products meet strict quality and safety standards.

The ideal Assembly Technician is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently while maintaining production goals and quality expectations.

Required Experience & Skills
• Manufacturing experience required (assembly, production, or machine operation)
• Ability to read and follow written instructions, diagrams, and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and quality control awareness
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Perform mechanical and industrial assembly according to blueprints and work instructions
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic manufacturing equipment safely
• Inspect parts and finished assemblies to verify quality and accuracy
• Follow production schedules and meet daily output goals
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Report defects, equipment issues, or safety concerns to supervisors
• Collaborate with team members to support efficient workflow
• Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies

Preferred Experience
• Experience with mechanical assembly, wiring, or industrial equipment
• Familiarity with torque tools, calipers, or precision measuring tools
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced production environment
