Corporate Banking Officer

Banco Sabadell is seeking a Corporate Banking Officer to join a dynamic new team within one of the fastest growing banks in Florida.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing loan applications and monitoring the approval process, thus ensuring proper execution of legal and account onboarding documentation and maintenance in collaboration with the Compliance and Credit departments.
• Ensure that all the compliance requirements related to call reports, visit reports, compliance cases, and OFAC cases are completed in a timely manner.
• Under the tutelage of the Corporate Banking Manager and the Corporate Bankers, establish contacts, maintain and develop relationships with corporate banking customers throughout the American continent the Caribbean and Europe, managing business exchanges with them for growth and profitability within established policies and procedures. Participate in the preparation of functional business development plans, taking responsibility for their implementation.
• To serve customers by ensuring timely and accurate resolution of operational and relational problems experienced with them and/or their transactions with the Branch.

Requirements:

• An Associate Bachelor's degree or a four-year degree (B.A, B.S.), or equivalent; or one to two years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bilingual - Ability to speak, write and read English and Spanish fluently.
• Trade Finance knowledge a Plus.
