This opportunity is for a Customer Service Representative who will support individuals seeking Social Security benefits. This role focuses on delivering professional customer service, responding to inquiries, resolving concerns, and maintaining accurate service records. The position requires strong phone communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM What You’ll Do Interact with customers by phone, email, or other approved communication channels to provide support and service information. Collect and enter information accurately for service-related requests. Respond to customer questions and concerns in a professional and timely manner. Escalate issues to the appropriate specialist or team member when additional support is needed. Take appropriate steps to help resolve customer problems and complaints. Maintain customer accounts and detailed records of interactions, including inquiries, concerns, and resolutions. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications At least 2 years of telephone customer service or call center experience required. Previous telephone-based customer support experience is required. Auto-dialer experience is highly preferred. Experience using computers and performing data entry is required. Ability to speak on the phone while typing accurately. Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills, including active listening. Service-oriented mindset with the ability to handle customer concerns effectively. Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly. Minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute. Bilingual English and Spanish skills are a plus. Reliable attendance and dependable work habits are required. Ability to pass a background check and typing assessment. Remote Work Requirements Must have a dedicated desk, chair, and basic home office setup. Must have a quiet workspace free from noise and distractions. Must have personal high-speed internet service. Wi-Fi is not acceptable; a wired ethernet connection is required. Minimum internet speed must be 100 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload. Must be logged into the work computer and available to answer calls during scheduled work hours.
