Job Title

Full Time (4 days) & Part Time (3 days) positions available.

Driver Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to designated locations within fifty miles of Charlotte, NC.

Load and unload packages up to 50 pounds, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. (Hand trucks provided)

Be able to handle the physical part of the job when completing 150 - 199 stops in all weather conditions.

Walking 6-8 miles a day during an extended period of time, and moving with a purpose.

Be able to climb up several flights of stairs throughout the day.

Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with recipients.

Adhere to traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Maintain accurate delivery records and report any issues to management.

Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety.

No CDL required for this position.

Work environment can include all kinds of weather (rain, sun, cold, heat) *

Qualifications

Basic requirements include:

• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen.
• Must have a seven year clean driving record. No more than two marks on your driving record total. For example, one speeding ticket (counts as one mark) and one accident (counts as one mark).
• Must be in good physical shape to walk 5-7 miles during delivery day to deliver up to 190 delivery stops per day and finish route safely in 10.5 hours.
• Must possess a great work ethic, attitude and be extremely reliable.
• Must be willing to work at least Saturday or Sunday on weekends.
• Drivers will work a 10.5 hour shift with a four day work week.
• Hours are day shift and a schedule of 9:20am-7:45pm

Driver Perks:

• Drivers are given two fifteen minute breaks and one thirty minute lunch break per shift.
• Drivers will be provided use of an Amazon branded van, uniforms, and work cell phone each day to navigate routes, deliver packages, and access customer delivery information.
