Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst to support business and technology teams in analyzing requirements, improving processes, and assisting with system implementations. This role is ideal for entry-level candidates looking to build a strong foundation in business analysis and systems support within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze functional and technical requirements
• Assist in translating business needs into system specifications and user stories
• Support system testing activities including UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and defect tracking
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization
• Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements
• Create and maintain documentation such as BRDs, FRDs, workflows, and process diagrams
• Assist in data analysis, validation, and reporting using tools like Excel or SQL
• Provide support during system upgrades, enhancements, and production issues
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
• 0–3 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or related roles (internships/project experience acceptable)
• Basic understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Excel; knowledge of SQL is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Exposure to tools like JIRA, Confluence, or ServiceNow
• Basic knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau)
• Understanding of APIs or system integrations
• Prior internship or academic project related to business/system analysis

• Candidates should be flexible to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong documentation and communication skills are essential
• Training/mentorship will be provided for the right candidate
