Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and measure the success of a comprehensive internal communications strategy.

  • Support employee engagement through communications efforts to help ensure an understanding of Company's culture, brand promise, major company projects, and overall business objectives.

  • Partner with management across the organization to align strategy with employee engagement, recruiting, benefits, and wellness goals.

  • Work with marketing team to develop content that is inspiring, informing, and engaging for social media, company intranet, award applications and internal presentations.

  • Develop and nurture communications channels throughout the company to ensure that messaging reaches targeted employees.

  • Maintain and apply knowledge of the latest communication technologies and tools to enhance employee engagement and reach our geographically dispersed workforce.

  • Gather project requirements and translate those into actionable plans. Work with marketing project specialists to develop detailed project plans and schedules, identify dependencies and critical paths, and resolve scheduling conflicts.

  • Schedule, facilitate and actively participate in project meetings. Ensure that projects are delivered on-time and within budget. Manage projects utilizing department project system.

  • Document, formalize and socialize communication processes across the organization. Evaluate process improvement opportunities and work within marketing and across the organization to implement.

  • Monitor, evaluate and report on the impact of internal communications programs and initiatives.

  • Establish format and deliver reports on key program metrics.

  • Work across the organization to develop and maintain a strategic perspective.

  • Ensure that the Marketing Department's mission, vision, and values are pertinent and practiced throughout the development process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communication, journalism, marketing or related field, along with 5-7 years related experience is required.

  • Experience in internal communications or public relations with demonstrated success.

  • Excellent grammar and written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as a member of a fast-paced marketing team.

  • Ability to prioritize projects, work within short time frames and meet deadlines.

  • Exceptional skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience developing and managing budgets.

This is a fully on-site position at the New Bremen, OH location.
