They are an integral part of the healthcare team assisting in patient care management.Job ResponsibilitiesVerify patient information by interviewing patient, recording medical history and confirming purpose of visitEnter medical history and visit information into EHREscort patients to exam roomAsk pertinent medical questions and data entry into EHRPrepare patient for exam by providing them with drapes and other materials to ensure they are prepared for the visit when the Physician enters the room.Taking photographsAssisting physician during medical examination and proceduresPhone in prescriptions to various pharmaciesSchedule medical proceduresInstruct patients on proper usage of medicationsChange wound dressings, removing sutures, and in-office phlebotomyCollect, log and package lab specimens for transportSterilize medical instrumentsKeeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receiptComplete phone triageNotify all patients of pathology and lab resultsScribe office visitsAdminister IM, SQ, and topical medications as orderedPerform and document nurse visit appointments including suture removals, UVB, Excimer, Patch Testing, and Biologic injections.Maintaining safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and proceduresSchedule 7:00am-5pm Monday: Dublin Office Tuesday- Thursday: Grove City office Friday: OFFBenefitsOur benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k matching, company paid life insurance, employee assistance program, and paid time off.Minimum QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent certificatePrior experience in medical officeAbility to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physiciansSelf-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standardsKnowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding (preferred)Familiarity with the ModMed EMA EMR (preferred)Thorough understanding of HIPAA lawTeam playerPhysical DemandsStanding or walking for extended periods of time.Ability to periodically lift objects or equipment up to 35 lbs.Moderate levels of pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead to prep exam rooms for patient visits as well as cleaning and sterilizing rooms after patient visits.The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).Ability to hear normal conversation levels.Hand dexterity.Equal Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status
