Reports To: Care Coordinator / Nursing Supervisor

Providence In-home Care Service is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and professional Caregiver / Non-Skilled Nursing Assistant to provide high-quality, non-medical in-home care to clients. This role supports individuals with activities of daily living while promoting dignity, independence, and overall well-being in a home setting.

Compensation

• Hourly Pay: $18 – $25 per hour (based on experience, certification, and shift assignment)
• Overtime pay available in accordance with state and federal regulations

$18 - $25 hourly

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting support
• Assist with safe mobility, transfers, and repositioning of clients
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties (laundry, cleaning, tidying living spaces)
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
• Provide medication reminders (non-administration)
• Observe, document, and report changes in client condition to supervisory staff
• Follow individualized care plans, safety procedures, and agency protocols

• Prior caregiving, CNA, or home health experience preferred (not required)
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and observation skills
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor
• Ability to pass required background checks and screening processes
• CNA/HHA certification is a plus; training opportunities available

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, transfer, or assist clients up to 25–50 lbs (with support as needed)
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and physical activity during shifts
