Company Description

First Presbyterian Church (PCUSA), Marietta, GA, located in the Atlanta metroplex and in the heart of Cobb County, is now accepting applications for the position of Principal Organist (full-time or part-time as desired). FPC Marietta is a liturgical/missional congregation of 1,100 members and enjoys a rich history that spans greater than 180 years in ministry. Worship at FPC is celebrated in the Reformed tradition. Music and fine arts are integral to FPC’s expression of praise.

Currently, two services of worship are offered, both of which are live streamed: 1) 8:30 AM service in the historic antebellum FPC Sanctuary, musically led by Chancel Choir members, accompanied by a 1975 Austin Organ II (refurbished in 2016, new console) as well as intermittently by chamber musicians, adult bell choirs, Church Street Brass (in residence), and/or soloists. 2) 11 AM service in FPC’s Great Hall.
