The temporary, part-time, grant-funded Clinical Instructor position reports to the Director of Clinical Programs and will provide clinical supervision to graduate students in the Robbins Speech Language and Hearing Center, supporting the clinical requirements of the department's accredited Master's program in Speech-Language Pathology.
This role requires exceptional clinical skills in the area of bilingual assessment and intervention in the field of speech language pathology, as well as the ability to collaborate and communicate with a diverse population of the college community.
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) required
3 or more years of experience in the SLP field working with bilingual populations required
ASHA CCC-SLP certifications and Massachusetts state SLP licensure required
Knowledge of a second oral language, in addition to English, required
Documentation of completed continuing education training in the area of supervision, required
Proficiency in a variety of learning management, clinical documentation, and file-sharing platforms, and the ability to learn new software easily
Expert knowledge of the Speech-Language Pathology field, including expertise in clinical writing, editing, and teaching
Ability to supervise graduate student clinicians
Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality
Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow through on tasks and requests
Ability to maintain multiple projects simultaneously and to prioritize tasks
Ability to collaborate and work with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community

This position is generally sedentary, movement throughout the area is required from time to time. The ability to have continuous oral and written communication with students, co-workers, and supervisors is essential.
