Job Description

Position Overview:

The Performance and Attribution Group is charged with ensuring prompt, accurate calculation and reporting for all composites, as well as other performance-related analytics for a variety of purposes. This role provides business analysis and support within the Performance Attribution team. The ideal candidate will have investment knowledge, experience with hedge funds or hedge fund administration, strong technical skills, great attention to detail, analytical skills, project management and communication skills. Database knowledge, Excel, SQL, automated data validation, and a solid mathematics background are required.


Responsibilities:
• Partner with Information Technology, to develop the vision and execute on our software and systems strategy to support our growing business
• Provide detailed specifications and data mapping for complex derivative strategies across multiple platforms
• Complete complex quantitative analyses under tight deadlines for internal and external clients
• Provide consultation to internal clients in formulating most appropriate responses
• Author stock comments based on monthly and YTD top performers for representative and key strategic accounts
• Train and develop junior staff in the group


Qualifications:
• Undergraduate and progress towards graduate degree in finance, math or other analytical discipline and/or CIPM/CFA certification
• At least 4 years of work experience, in the business analysis of derivatives and performance and attribution area required
• Proven SQL knowledge required, experience programming a strong plus
• Long / Short Equity, Multi-Asset, or Fixed Income experience
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills as well as written and verbal communication skills
• Must possess extensive problem solving skills
• Must be flexible, able to work independently and within a team-oriented environment
• Must possess strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to meet or exceed deadlines
