Job Position: Pipe Welder (TIG)

Location: Norco, LA 70079

Description: Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Job description:

Unite Contracting is seeking 6G Tig Carbon Steel Pipe Welders, $30 to $32 per hour, working 40 to 60 hours per week- No Per Diem, permanent position. Must pass a 6G Tig Pipe X-Ray Weld Test, Fluxcore X-Ray Plate Weld Test, to become an integral part of our team. The Tig pipe/Fluxcore plate welder will utilize specialized equipment to weld and assemble pipes. Working 40 to 60 hours per week. Pipe Welding jobs are in Norco, Louisiana.

Responsibilities:

Welders will manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
Welders install and repair various equipment and components
A welder must follow blueprints to meet product specifications
Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance

Qualifications:

Must have at least two years of experience with Tig and Fluxcore welding 6G Pipe
Must take and pass a 6G Tig and Fluxcore pipe welding test before starting
Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
Ability to handle physical workload

Reporting to the Lead Welder, you will utilize your core skills in welding, mechanical knowledge, and hand tools to execute projects effectively. Your premium skills in Fluxcore and TIG welding will be essential in delivering high-quality results. Additionally, your relevant experience in construction and manufacturing will help us successfully complete projects, making you a vital part of our team dedicated to excellence in fabrication and assembly.
