Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members.
Position Summary
The Non-Invasive Cardiology RN functions as a shared-services nurse supporting diagnostic cardiac imaging and testing across multiple locations, including the hospital, cardiology clinic, and pavilion. This role provides specialized nursing care for patients undergoing stress testing, nuclear medicine testing, and Cardiac PET, and offers PRN-level support to Cath Lab prep and recovery as needed. The RN works collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.

Monday–Friday
7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Primary work locations include the hospital, cardiology clinic, and pavilion, based on daily operational needs
Training and Orientation
The RN will receive structured training and onboarding from experienced registered nurses and technologists within the diagnostic cardiology and cardiac imaging space. Training will include hands-on, competency-based orientation across stress testing, nuclear medicine testing, and Cardiac PET workflows.
In addition, the RN will receive direct training, guidance, and clinical expertise from cardiologists, supporting progressive skill development and clinical decision-making. This collaborative training approach is designed to ensure the RN safely and confidently grows into the specialized competencies required for non-invasive cardiac diagnostics and advanced imaging services.
