Remote Family Law Attorney

Established (20+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Family Law Attorney for Family Law and Domestic Relations Matters in Remote, United States

 

An established firm with over 20+ years in practice is seeking a Family Law Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join their team in a remote work arrangement. This role focuses on family law, divorce, custody, support, equitable distribution, and complex domestic relations matters , representing high-net-worth and sophisticated clients in contested and negotiated proceedings while managing matters from inception through resolution.

Salary range: $180,000-$275,000+ contingent on experience

Qualifications
Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction with California licensure strongly preferred
Three years of experience practicing family law with significant litigation exposure
Experience handling complex divorce, custody, support, and financial matters
Strong background in motion practice, discovery, depositions, and court appearances
Excellent legal writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills
Ability to manage a full caseload independently in a remote environment
Strong client communication skills and sound professional judgment

 

Responsibilities
Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, custody, support, and related proceedings
Draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and substantive legal memoranda
Manage discovery, conduct and defend depositions, and prepare cases for hearings and trial
Advise clients on legal strategy, risk assessment, and resolution options
Participate in mediations, hearings, and court appearances as required
Maintain consistent client communication and provide high-level client service
Manage deadlines, court filings, and case strategy while working collaboratively with the legal team
