Are you ready to join our cause?/ppThe Revenue Manager is responsible for implementing and supporting Canyon Ranch pricing, yield, distribution and selling strategies, and revenue management best practices in order to maximize total revenue, drive growth and increase profitability for the company. Prior hospitality experience highly preferred./ppThis position will be remote with a preference to be near one of our locations (Austin, Fort Worth, Las Vegas, Lenox, Tucson)./ph3Responsibilities/h3pForecast and Analysis:/pulliForecasting and reporting for resort revenues with high accuracy./liliHighlight trends that impact the forecast, historical performance, analyze future pace, and present strategy recommendations to property teams, ownership and corporate teams./liliDevelop reporting for revenue and analysis as needed./liliIdentify opportunities and apply revenue management techniques and critical analysis to maximize performance and profitability in other departments of the resort such as spa, food beverage, health performance./liliSupport to the Area Director of Revenue Management and the Director of Revenue Management./li/ulpStrategies:/pulliImplement and support revenue management best practices./liliCreate, implement, measure, and adjust inventory control strategies for the resort based on forecasted demand and remaining capacity in order to maximize total resort revenues, market share and profitability across all departments./liliAlign strategies with sales, marketing, digital, reservations and other stakeholder departments guidelines and initiatives in order to meet business goals to drive revenue growth and increase profitability and to achieve/exceed budgeted revenues and profitability while growing market share./li/ulpSystems and Operations:/pulliManage key aspects of the property management system, booking engine and electronic distribution and monitor channel performance./liliManage Central Reservations System (CRS) to ensure appropriate pricing and availability of inventory across all channels./liliBuild rate codes and manage any system issues and improvements./li/ulpMeetings:/pulliAttend, support and as needed lead weekly revenue meetings and Daily Business Reviews./liliAttend other meetings as requested by General Manager or Corporate Director of Revenue Management./liliRepresent the Revenue Management department of Canyon Ranch in all interactions and communications with both internal and external stakeholder (meetings, conference calls, projects and initiatives, written communications, emails, reports) ensuring an exemplary degree of professionalism./li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliStrong analysis and forecasting skills./lili3-5 years previous experience in hospitality/hotel industry or related field a plus./liliCapable of high level organization and data analysis in MS Excel./liliDemonstrated proficiency in concepts such as RevPAR, RGI and their use in measuring market share./liliDemonstrated skill in competitive rate analysis using industry-standard competitive rate shopping services./liliProficient with hospitality management systems including Opera and Synxis experience a plus./li/ulpWHAT YOULL RECEIVE AS A CANYON RANCH COLLEAGUE:/pulliUse of services and facilities including the spa, fitness classes, lectures, and overnight stays at all Canyon Ranch locations nationwide./liliGenerous health plan including Health, Dental and Vision after 30 days of employment/lili25 Total Days of vacation, sick and holiday time off/liliSupplemental Health care options (including Accidental, Critical Illness and Hospital care)/liliEmployer-paid life insurance and Employee Assistance Program/liliPaid Maternity leave/li/ul/div
