Responsibilities Create a safe, effective, student‑centered learning environment that fosters student curiosity. Build a bridge of communication and involvement with parents, families, and community leaders. Analyze data and use it to inform and drive instruction. Attend all professional development trainings, data team meetings, and curriculum meetings. Collaborate with peers and school leaders to improve instructional strategies, school climate, and leadership skills. Exemplary professional values. Three years experience teaching (preferred). Experience in analyzing data to drive instruction. Commitment to student engagement and student success. Bachelor’s degree, graduate degree preferred. NYS certification preferred; commitment to achieve certification required. Compensation Competitive salaries for first‑year teachers range from $62,784 for non‑certified bachelor’s degree holders to $79,200 for those with a master’s degree and certification. Salary is commensurate with years of experience, education level, and certification status. This is a full‑time, full‑year exempt position with a comprehensive benefits package.
