Role Description

As Lunon's Software Engineering Intern, you will work directly with the founding engineering team on the platform powering our client engagements. The platform is where hundreds of millions of dollars in deals get analyzed and decided. Engagements run end to end on it, from initial scoping through live AI-driven research and analysis, to polished reports and deliverables that clients access directly. This is not a "build an internal tool and present at the end of summer" internship. You will own features end to end, ship them to real clients, and see the impact immediately.

• Your workflow, your tools, your call. Claude Code, Cursor, whatever gets the best result fastest.
• You ship it yourself. No handoffs, no waiting on someone to unblock you.
• You stay on top of the best tools as they emerge and bring that to the team.
• You hit a wall, you find a way through it. That's the job.
• This internship is built on velocity, ownership, and grind.

Qualifications

• You are a formidable engineer who stops at nothing to accomplish your goal.
• You must be autonomous with no ticket queue or hand-holding.
• You must be AI-fluent, using AI to enhance your work.
• You must be pragmatic, able to navigate the chaos of a startup.
• You must be gritty, choosing the hardest, highest-quality options.
• Prior startup experience is strongly preferred.
• Your GitHub should show consistent activity and real projects.
