Position Summary

The Supply Chain Sr. Project Specialist is a member of the Supply Chain Systems Team, supporting and enhancing warehouse and distribution system capabilities across the Catalyst network. This role works closely with Operations, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders to support systems such as WMS, WCS, and related warehouse applications.

The position focuses on learning and understanding system functionality, translating business needs into clear requirements, supporting system enhancements, coordinating testing efforts, and maintaining accurate documentation. This role helps ensure warehouse systems effectively support operational performance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support WMS, WCS, and related warehouse applications across distribution operations
  • Develop strong functional knowledge of warehouse systems and operational workflows
  • Gather, document, and refine business requirements to support system enhancements
  • Submit and track system change requests to improve functionality and performance
  • Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and Business Readiness Testing (BRT) activities
  • Partner with IT and external vendors to validate system functionality and resolve issues
  • Assist with system upgrades, enhancements, and configuration updates
  • Create and maintain system documentation, process guides, and user support materials
  • Provide ongoing system support and troubleshooting for warehouse and distribution teams
  • Identify opportunities to improve system utilization and operational efficiency
Qualifications

Required:
  • 3-6+ years of experience in supply chain operations, warehouse systems support, or distribution environments
  • Experience working with WMS, WCS, or related warehouse applications
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
  • Ability to translate operational needs into clear business and functional requirements
  • Experience supporting system enhancements, change requests, and structured testing efforts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across Operations, IT, and cross-functional teams
Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, Business, or related field
  • Experience in retail or multi-site distribution environments
  • Exposure to system integrations and warehouse automation technologies
  • Familiarity with formal testing methodologies and system implementation support
  • Learn or continuous improvement experience
