Job Description

A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school in Macon, GA, with opportunities for part-time hours. This role offers the flexibility to support students through in-person services, focusing on pediatric speech therapy within the school setting.


Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations and interventions for elementary-aged students.
• Collaborate with educators and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Utilize telespeech methods as needed to support remote or hybrid learning models.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in speech therapy.

Qualifications:

• Valid Georgia Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
• Demonstrated experience as an SLP, preferably in pediatric and school-based settings.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently within a school environment.
