Overview
Radiation Therapist – Radiation Therapy role available in Lancaster, Ohio, United States. This travel, temporary assignment starts 05/04/2026 and runs for 8 weeks with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift pattern is 5x8 Days (Monday through Friday, typically 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), with no weekends or on-call requirements. The assignment is in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. TrueBeam/ARIA experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Deliver a prescribed course of radiotherapy using radiation therapy equipment according to established standards.
- Obtain and document patient history, answer questions, and monitor for reactions during treatment.
- Verify prescriptions, diagnoses, charting, and patient identification to ensure accurate treatments.
- Prepare room and equipment, position patients safely, and assist with immobilization devices as required.
- Coordinate with physicists, radiation oncologists, nurses, and support staff; monitor and report treatment progress and any concerns.
- Maintain accurate treatment documentation, including evaluation results, progress notes, and port film verifications as directed.

Requirements
- Education: Associate degree in radiography with certification in radiation therapy; bachelor’s degree preferred. Graduates of a JRCERT-approved program registered through ARRT in Radiation Therapy.
- Licensure/Certifications: State of Ohio licensed radiation therapist; ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy; CPR certification.
- Experience: 1–2 years of radiation therapy experience preferred.
- Additional: Ohio Department of Health license preferred upon submission; ability to work in a hospital/acute care setting; TrueBeam/ARIA experience preferred if available.
