Job Description

As a Commercial Sales Representative at GEICO, you will play a key role in expanding GEICO’s presence within the Banking, Insurance & Investment industry by acquiring and growing commercial accounts. Working within the Sales & Business Development department, you will focus on building profitable, long-term relationships with business clients while representing one of the most recognized names in auto and broader insurance. Leveraging GEICO’s reputation for innovation and customer satisfaction, you will identify prospects, conduct needs-based consultations, and present tailored commercial insurance solutions that help businesses protect their assets and manage risk. In this role, you will proactively prospect and qualify commercial leads through outbound outreach, networking, partnerships, and referrals, converting them into loyal GEICO customers. You will manage the full sales cycle—from initial contact and risk assessment through proposal development, negotiation, and closing—ensuring all activity aligns with underwriting guidelines, compliance standards, and GEICO’s commitment to ethical selling. Using CRM tools, you will maintain a disciplined sales pipeline, track key performance indicators, and provide accurate forecasts to support business planning. You will collaborate closely with internal partners across Sales & Business Development, underwriting, claims, and customer service to deliver a seamless client experience. By conducting regular policy reviews, identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and executing strong renewal and retention strategies, you will help clients adapt their coverage as their businesses evolve. Your understanding of commercial insurance products, regulatory requirements, and competitive offerings will enable you to act as a trusted advisor and advocate for your customers.
