Pay: $20–$30/hr. DOE

Schedule: Full-Time | Overtime Available (typically 5–6 days/week, 12-hour shifts)

Job Summary:

We are looking for skilled and motivated Loader/Heavy Equipment Operators for our Eastern Montana facilities located in Bainville, MT.

In this role you will operate a range of heavy machinery to support frac sand mining and transportation operations.

You will be responsible for managing heavy equipment to complete projects according to specifications while adhering to company policies and MSHA safety standards.

Training on specific equipment will be provided, and you will work.

The Heavy Equipment Operator will work together with the team to achieve project objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate and monitor heavy equipment, including loaders, dozers, excavators, and skid steers.
  • Conduct daily inspections and perform maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Load and transport frac sand and other materials to designated areas within the site.
  • Adjust equipment settings to make sure tasks are performed accurately and efficiently.
  • Track equipment maintenance schedules and notify supervisors of any overdue maintenance.
  • Assist in training new operators and encourage commitment to safety.
  • Clean equipment and make sure waste disposal are handled properly.
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance as required.
  • Show strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Undertake additional relevant duties as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year operating heavy machinery, preferably in a mining or construction environment.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and best practices in heavy equipment operation.
  • Physically capable and willing to operate heavy machinery and perform related tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Strong safety record with reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, 8-12-hour shifts, days or nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call, if needed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Capable of performing heavy labor and to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Effective communication skills and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs., climb stairs and ladders, and use power tools.
  • Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance manuals.
