At Vantor, you’ll work with the U.S. Space Force as part of the effort to develop and rapidly deploy the next generation of resilient Missile Warning (MW), Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (TISR), and Environmental Monitoring (EM) capabilities to deter attacks and provide critical information to our warfighters to defeat our enemies in battle. Within this role, you will: Create, integrate, and apply interdisciplinary digital models of products from concept throughout the product lifecycle. Apply advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and may supervise team members. Your functional expertise, communication and collaboration skills, and attention to detail will be vital as you contribute to the acquisition and development of space sensing capabilities. Qualifications: Secret clearance Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field 5+ years of experience with large-scale missions and systems engineering and integration 3+ years of experience performing systems engineering analysis and developing systems engineering products for DoD or government systems 3+ years of experience with practical MBSE for the development of technical specifications, interface control documents, and system architecture, including using digital engineering tools such as Cameo or MagicDraw, SparxEA, DOORS, or IBM Rhapsody Ability to perform multiple systems engineering and program management functions in support of design reviews and requirements verification Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals Preferred Qualifications: TS/SCI clearance Master’s degree in Engineering Experience with Model-Based Verification and Validation Experience with MATLAB, STK, ModelCenter, or TeamCenter Experience analyzing and translating system requirements into design Knowledge of Systems Machine Learning (SysML) and DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical risks and issues, develop technical reports, and collaborate with government and other stakeholders to implement recommended solutions OMG Certified Systems Model Professional (OCSMP) Certification INCOSE SE Certification Clearance: Secret The position will require at least 2-3x per week on site. Starting pay for this role will fall within the listed range and will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, location, and market conditions. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements for the role should not expect to receive compensation at the top of the range. The listed range reflects the expected pay for this position, and final offers will be determined based on each candidate’s experience, expertise, and alignment with the role. ● The base pay for this position within California is: $117,000.00 - $156,000.00 - $171,600.00 annually. For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
