Typical Job Duties

Video Production:

  • Plan, shoot, and edit video content for educational products and marketing campaigns, ensuring technical quality and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Set up and operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment for studio and on-location shoots.
  • Edit footage, add graphics and audio, and deliver polished final assets within agreed timelines.
  • Perform quality control checks on personal output to ensure assets meet department standards before submission for review.

Innovation and AI Workflow:

  • Apply AI-hybrid workflows in day-to-day production tasks where appropriate and efficient.
  • Use generative AI tools (e.g., Google Veo or similar video/image generation tools) for tasks such as creating green screen spokespeople characters or generating placeholder B-roll, following team direction.
  • Ensure any AI-generated content produced is vetted for technical quality, creative alignment, and compliance with Stukent’s intellectual property and brand standards.

Collaboration and Workflow:

  • Manage assigned tasks and deadlines within the two-week sprint cycle using ClickUp.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Senior Videographer and other team members to align on creative vision, technical approach, and project priorities.
  • Communicate proactively about progress, blockers, and resource needs.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay current with emerging production technologies, techniques, and tools to continually improve the quality and efficiency of video work.
  • Exemplify Stukent’s core values in all aspects of work: good humor, growth, winning, honesty, dependability, consistency, positivity, humility, and gratitude.

Requirements:
  • Professional portfolio demonstrating solid expertise in video production, including shooting, lighting, audio recording, and editing.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and working knowledge of modern production workflows.
  • Ability to manage personal tasks and deadlines within a two-week sprint cycle using project management software (e.g., ClickUp).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Attention to detail, self-motivation, and a commitment to producing work that meets established technical and brand standards.
